Hi, I'm Annika.
I'm a UX Design and Computing student at the University of Melbourne, originally from Seattle, USA.
From my early experience at one of Seattle's top startups, to managing year-long and semester-long design projects, my approach to design is shaped by a passion for inclusive thinking and a belief that good design can help create a more delightful, more accessible world.
My work in university GenAI policy and my longtime love for linguistics have increasingly driven me towards conversation design and human-GenAI interaction in my work. I also have a soft spot for whimsical designs that steal your heart, and I jump at any chance to incorporate my own hand-drawn illustrations into my projects.
Alongside my design work, I've led teams through high-level planning and execution across multiple university projects and year-long publishing projects. I'm excited to keep building those skills and take on roles thinking not just about how things are built, but why.
